Our Story
Vieux Port Goldsmith was founded by designer and goldsmith Seth Bordonaro. Becoming increasingly unsatisfied with the mass production of jewelry resulting in inferior products, Seth decided to open his own studio in 2018, for people who insist on unique, quality jewelry. Originally a sculptor and artist, Seth was introduced to the world of jewelry in Florence, Italy in 2003, where he apprenticed in jewelry design and repair. Since then, he has studied under multiple master goldsmiths from across Europe and the United States. Though he uses traditional techniques, Seth’s background in sculpture and the fine arts allows him to create beautiful and unique designs with superior construction.
All of our designs are created in house using classical techniques gleaned from years of experience and training. We wish to develop a relationship with our customers based on trust and do that by providing the highest level of craftsmanship in our jewelry and repairs. Our storefront provides a relaxed, warm atmosphere to simply appreciate the enduring craft of jewelry and jewelry design.
